… they tell you to do your own research.
When I was first re-learning how to program, I consulted with a friend of mine who had developed an app which he was able to sell for a pretty good deal.
When I was first developing for Charg, I asked him for some information. Well I had looked everywhere for my own education. Everywhere but a classroom, that is. And for all it was the same answer.
Well, crickets.
Nobody wanted to teach me. I didn’t understand why.
Well for one, it’s because most all in this industry are not great communicators. Just the facts..
And for another, programming is so niche. KWIM?
And the same could be said for other protocols. They are just so niche.
And while a good general education covers the most bases, you need that sharpened pencil in whichever framework specific to your wheelhouse so as best to tool yourself to that end.
And so it began.
More on this, perhaps, later on..
