Building Code is Wrong

My designs push limits, so that when it’s time for production I know exactly what will happen. I know that my designs are different. That was the point! It’s after six, seven revisions that we perfect, after learning everything there is to know about the edge case. After turning heads. After changing old ways without disrespecting the reasons for those traditions. Actually the only problem with my trailer designs as far as safety is that they attract too much attention as to be unfairly pulled over! It’s all about how you establish your low load distribution though seemingly top-heavy.

“The 1,600 pound design was so lightweight it blew away when we forgot to put it in storm mode. The damage to the fence it hit was non-existent, while the experimentally under-gauged corner pieces took minimal damage resulting from the fence. We picked her back up, set her in storm mode, no harm no foul to the storage lot owner, which was honorable of them.”

“We had traveled about 300 miles before realizing the lug nuts had been installed backwards on one wheel. Through no fault of the tiny house design, the wheel came off, which forced an overnight stay in the Rocky Mountains just a few hours from our new home.”
