A beautiful 8-dimensional chromatic visualization where:
Musical/Color Mapping:
D1: RED (C) - Fundamental/Root note
D2: ORANGE (D) - Major 2nd
D3: YELLOW (E) - Major 3rd
D4: GREEN (F) - Perfect 4th
D5: CYAN (G) - Perfect 5th
D6: BLUE (A) - Major 6th
D7: INDIGO (B) - Major 7th
D8: VIOLET (C’) - Octave
What You’re Seeing:
The 3D projection uses musical harmony principles:
X-axis: Fundamental + Octave (D1+D8) - the bass/treble
Y-axis: Thirds + Sixths (D3+D6) - the harmony
Z-axis: Fourths + Fifths (D4+D5) - the resonance
Each point is colored by which dimension is dominant at that moment, creating a chromatic rainbow flow through the 8-dimensional space!
Performance Optimizations:
Samples every 5th snapshot (5x faster)
Reduced trail length to 1,500 points
150ms update interval (slower but smoother)
Thin lines for traces (less GPU load)
