Social Media Censorship!

Trisandcats.com has, for some time, been assailed. We are hard capped at about 7,400 members in spite of enormous first year 100% organic growth and active listings. For the record, TrisAndCats was stealth launched, and it didn’t incur this hard cap shadow censorship until after I announced TrisAndCats as a sponsor of this page. Dirrrrrrect correlation.

Now then, they do this thing where they sneak in the Trojan horse - aliases which either appear legitimate (we manually catch most of those), or more likely Facebook’s spam filters fail, I think it’s intentional, don’t you? The offender sneaks in past the Facebook filter, posts something lewd in the middle of the night, and WE get in trouble for it. See where they’re going with this?

In a word, wrong. In another word, framed. In another word, entrapped. In one final word: sedition. Why sedition? The information I disseminate is intended as evidence for future use by the (legitimate) authorities. And yes, I have set precedent in the past and utilized TrisAndCats to get the word out. So, if this page or TrisAndCats should go down, you’ll know it was due to proxy sedition. Should ‘Trimarans and Catamarans for Sale’ submit to their kangaroo courts in this place of ‘public accommodation’ which will prove in fact to be a ‘public place’ due to surreptitious gov. seed funding; and allow them to rationalize my duress entering into their so-called jurisdiction? Is a hippopotamus largess? Just how many criminals are involved in attempting to tie down Gulliver? And just how long… is a piece of string?

… Is a bird in the hand better than two in the bush? Darn it, I’ve always wanted to work that one into my routine, I shamelessly forced the square hole in the round peg, oh well .

18 U.S. Code § 1519 – Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records
Text:

“Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States… shall be fined… or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.”

Applies even before law enforcement takes custody of the evidence, as long as there is intent to interfere with a federal investigation.

18 U.S. Code § 1512(c) – Obstruction of justice
Text (relevant part):

“Whoever corruptly… alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object… with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding.”

Covers destruction before formal proceedings begin, so long as there’s intent to obstruct justice.

  1. State Laws (Varies by State)
Most U.S. states have similar laws. For example:

California Penal Code § 135 – Destruction of evidence
Text:

“Every person who, knowing that any book, paper, record, instrument in writing, or other matter or thing is about to be produced in evidence upon any trial, inquiry, or investigation authorized by law, willfully destroys… with intent thereby to prevent it from being produced, is guilty of a misdemeanor.”

New York Penal Law § 205.50 – Tampering with physical evidence
Text:

“A person is guilty… when, believing that certain physical evidence is about to be produced or used in an official proceeding… he or she suppresses it by any act of concealment, alteration or destruction…”

Key Principle
Destruction does not need to occur while the evidence is in official custody. What matters is:

There is foreseeability that the evidence may be needed for an official investigation or proceeding.

There is intent to obstruct or impair the availability of the evidence.

P.S. I am aware at time of print of this article or post that trisandcats.com is down, as are a few others of my domains. This is due to my work computer for that work flow being locked in my office just in time for some much needed migration from an old, expensive, and corrupt host (I had two plans, this being a plan which does not support discourse, and only one was banned with no refund). Anyways the office, it currently smells like what electronics people call blown smoke; and only after going through my heavy metal detox.

Now, I don’t want any thieves getting any ideas that, being a computer guy, I don’t practice good offsite redundant backups, but I do have a preference for the feel of my keyboard, you know, like an old glove in baseball fitting just right with respect to the old noodle; and these days I like to keep a tight ship on workflows. I defer at this time to other projects having much bigger fish to fry, and while I could easily convert this workflow to another instance, it’s just not my preference. An aside. Sigh, I suppose I will need to obfuscate my place of work and keyboard too, almighty, thanks in advance for the strength I know you give for dealing with these encumbrances. Gosh, don’t old gloves smell good?

The smell of the office is so rancid after going through my heavy metal detox that I can’t go in there for very long. Now, being a computer guy, I know that my computer is not the source of this smell. My computers carry 10 year warranties and this computer is freshly built and runs great, except for the occasional virtualization blip harbingered by the instance carrying over between the old and the new PC, and why I mention this and these items…

Have you read that article yet ‘Defending Your Person and Your Family Against Cowardly Assailants?’ It’s a good’n. God bless.

… and speaking of the trojan horse, a had somebody log in to my facebook last night using chrome. Good thing I keep lots of off-site archives in case somebody tries to deface my shiznit, or should I need to empirically prove manipulation of my work.

I hate chrome, it’s shiz. Only newbs use chrome. Hmmm… Time to revolve those passwords. When before I was my own worst enemy for function: remember password, now it would seem I need to trust myself with longer and more complicated password schemes, to borrow from my technical background in encryption and decryption strategy.

Granted, it may be a false positive, but when a string of coincidences sums up to a magnitude of off chances, the off chance of something becoming as fact becomes empirical. Put differently, when you’ve got enough small evidences, the small evidences accumulate to become big evidence of tampering - physical, digital, and otherwise.

Silly annoying fleas, weakness becomes strength… SHIELDS UP; LEVEL UP! Don’t rationalize, evildoers. Plants grow with or without the prune, while unwanted prunings are defined as pests.
