Dog Catchers Repugnant to Law; and Man's Best Friend Also Assailed

When I was a boy, the first time I went kayaking was on the ocean. They used to lease you boogey boards and sea kayaks. Back then there weren’t any rules there in Mexico. You’d lease the kayak, then bring it back when you were done, and if there should be any damage to the property you would take it back and settle the cost of the damages.

So if you can imagine, as a boy I went on some rather intense adventures for my size on those sea kayaks. I rode the waves ashore. The learning curve was very sink or swim - you either learned to lean back, backwards stroke your paddle, or you ate it. And there were a couple of hairy times learning to ride the waves I remember my face or neck or some such slamming against the bottom of the sea, being pushed down by my own boat, nearly dying! But living to tell the tale.

And so I learned to survive riding the waves. Got pretty good at it. The secret is to lean back, and the secret also is to back paddle, not forward paddle, as with the changing dynamics when you are being pushed. Years later when I would become a commercial raft guide, they used to get mad at me there on the Clear Creek because everyone else was secretly a little terrified by that dangerous little Creek, and I instinctively back paddled. Only problem was through the caboose behind me who didn’t know how to Wu Wei in reverse. So I got reprimanded in favor of the much more dangerous technique of trying to go forward when the river-creek’s lines screamed to go backwards.

And going back to Mexico in the very same spot of my childhood, you came to find out they don’t let you do that anymore. You can rent boats n’ boogies, sure, but now there’s all these… rules.

No riding the waves! You are restricted to immediately escaping the surf zone and are only permitted to paddle out at sea. It’s a workout, and there is some sight-seeing, but riding the waves you felt alive, and being reduced to the safety of the amusement park rules and regulations felt sort of dead, beside. And the sun beating down, meh, I returned my 'yak and switched to body boarding.

Now body boarding, they really can’t regulate. At least not yet. I like body boarding, you can ride the wave all the way inland, but it’s never as fun as the dangers of the ocean kayak catching a tip on the bottom and flipping you right into the sandy bottom.

Now you’d think that private property would dictate you can still live a little. And a student of the law may understood there’s a certain unalienable sheen to private property. Be it with your kayak, your land, or your right to manage your own waste by burning trash out there where it settles back to earth before anyone can so much as smell it really except, it’s really nobody’s business so long as you’re not hurting anybody.

And that’s the truth.

You see, up there in the mountains, with torn jacket earned the smelly smoked out goat jacket that ripped when the oil dripped upon it under the car that one time, out there, you are supposed to be something more primal than the black letter law, so long as you’re not bothering anybody.

Then when somebody comes and attempts to manage you, who comes from the torn jacket but decided to steal somebody’s shirt as to have the nice, pressed laundry and suit, when they come all the way up there, when they come and find you being of the wild and try to manage you they’re betraying where they come from to fix that which was trying to get back to where they come from. And that, my astute reader, is wrong.

That’s how corruption works, you see. Somebody thought they could change their stars. And they could. But somebody thought they needed to cheat to win to change those stars as to press that laundry and rip somebody’s jacket so they could belong somewhere they didn’t.

Bible talks about this.

The last shall be first, and the first shall be last, you ever heard that one before? Well it’s true - those who wear the fancy costumes as to pretend they didn’t work their way to the top when the shortcut just mean crafting and scheming a bit missed the point entirely.

You’re supposed to enjoy the nice, pressed laundry sheets when head goes to pillow as with the clear conscience. You’re supposed to win at life by working at it, having intellect maybe, but never are you ever supposed to cheat what God born you with, unless you can get away with it, which some are of the opinion you can.

You see, when you claw your way up at the expense of others, now you’ve got to manage those others you cheated who weren’t bothering anybody. Now you’ve got to rationalize and justify your actions as they you were of the saint’s marching band and they were the ones who did you wrong, only it doesn’t work that way, and deep down you know’d it when you took from them the first time around, only you kept doing it and now you’re setting on something awful worth of blood, sweat, and tears of others or some such thinking you had earned it while they only ever wanted to be alone.

And that’s why it’s wrong.

You see, because you stole, you’re never gonna claw your way back to the peaceful existence wishing for more you once had. Not ever again, until you repent.

What’d you think that property belonged to you you were still managing what you stole from your brother who was already struggling? Bro, that’s not how it works. You have to give back SEVEN TIMES what you took, that’s in the bible, and it certainly don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing - as to say, what are you doing still in that profession of thieving thinking you somehow got clean as yet? Ya didn’t.

And you know who saw it, else, besides the village people who were a bit disgruntled but distracted for a time, might could be a very long time if your soul chooses the darkest night rather than convert back to being like them, but until such time they’re gonna claw their way back into God’s law and again seven times what you took, every dot, line, & tittle.

So that’s why they call it the narrow way. Because most all coons with their hand in the trap clinging onto some turkish delight they may have thought they captured don’t get it. You either naw that hand off, you either pluck out that eye, or you give it all back and surrender your life to God - as to say, to retire, repent, repair that what you damaged or become the damaged goods you thought you were avoiding in the first place of yourself.

For you see, “Ye cannot serve God and mammon”, while cheaters never, ever, prosper until they can sleep at night without the comfort of their takings.
