I lived in and grew up near Loveland, Colorado. There’s an old sugar factory that found itself exploded there, back in the day. Somebody went up there on the tipity-top of the ruins, which are still towering to this day, and grafiti’d “It was Sugar, Stupid” a long time before I was cognizant enough to know that it had ever been blow’d up. Let me get this straight - instead of repairing an Olympic-sized pool, it was filled in with gravel, now they want millions of dollars to build a new pool? We go over to the YMCA with an admission price so high it is completely inaccessible, constantly closed for maintenance, and a perfectly good separate outdoor pool which appears public but doesn’t allow outside food/drink, upcharges for slides, and has a season so short you might blink if you missed it?
